I'm 42 years old and I have been working with European Union Customs Tariff Codes as a Specialist in Nokia Company in Finland since 1998 (My whole Nokia career is now more than 17 years).

I was born in Kemi in 1967 and moved to Salo in 1988 and I worked in Nokia for one year. After that I studied in Technical Institute in Turku and graduated telecommunication engineer in 1992. After that I participated to few courses In Paimio and  then I came back to Nokia.    
I'm living in  our house with my wife, 13 years old son and 11 years old daughter.

We spend a lot of time in the summer in  our summer cottage in Vaskio  relaxing, swimming, playing badminton, hiking and photographing.    

  

About my hobby:

I started photographing in 1981 with an Olympus OM 10 and a Hoya Zoom macro 100-300 mm f5 lens. It was excellent combination for young boy to photograph birds, butterflies and dragonflies. 

I have now photographed more than 28 years in the nature. I usually photograph birds, but in the summer times also butterflies, dragonflies, mammals, lizards, insects etc. I usually photograph in Salo area like Halikonlahti and also in Vaskio. I spend 2-3 weeks abroad every year photographing birds etc.  My fafourite places In Europe are located in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Norway and of course in Finland. I have been 18 years a member of Finnish Nature Photographer's association and I have received 3 Honorable Mention's in nature photographs of the year competition(1994,1995 and 2000) in Finland. In many cases I'm planning the photos before I take them. I have always many beautiful "pictures" in my mind.
